Minister Sunitha Vakiti gets additional portfolios

Minister for Minor Irrigation V. Sunitha Lakshma Reddy has been given additional portfolios by CM YS Rajashekar Reddy. Additional portfololios for minister include Andhra Pradesh Irrigation Development Corporation, Lift Irrigation, Groundwater Development, Andhra Pradesh Water Resources Development Corporation and WALAMTARI.

While entrusting additional responsibilities to ministers, the Chief Minister asked them to concentrate on responding to public grievances and visiting districts frequently. He hoped that they would work hard on the people-oriented initiatives launched by the Government aiming at overall development of the State and live up to the expectation of the people.

It is with great pride we bring the news that our exemplary leader has been rewarded with a minister post in the cabinet. She has brought Narsapur towards great progress and her vision will be a great asset for the development of Andhra Pradesh. Her importance for Agriculture, Hydro-based projects, Power Supply, Infrastructure development and people to people contact will play a key role in transforming Andhra Pradesh. She played a key role in the upliftment of different sections of the society by developing and participating in several Congress based welfare initiatives like Prajapatham, Aroghya Shri, Indiramma Housing Scheme and making sure there is acountability and the projects reach the lives of the people in need.
